Raptor Lake Refresh benchmark leaks look promising 18 percent performance boost Chipzilla's Raptor Lake Refresh CPU leaked benchmark scores for its Core i7-14700K are looking rather interesting. The leaked benchmarks, revealed by Twitter user @wxnod reveal an18 percent performance boost in CPU-Z's multi-threaded benchmark over the Core i7-13700K. This would probably be down to the rumored increased core count amd expected higher frequencies. The single-thread performance rises a less impressive four percent as it's not impacted by the core count increase, but this could have an impact in game performance. the other benchmark listed was Cinebench. Here the single-thread performance increased over four percent while the multi-threaded performance increased by nearly 17 percent. The Core i7-14700K is better than the Ryzen 9 7950X3D in the multi-threaded score and sits below only the Core i9-13900K and Ryzen 9 7950X adding nearly 9,000 points to the score of the Ryzen 9 7900X - a huge advantage. https://fudzilla.com/news/57231-rapt...look-promising |
