you ever tried that out yourself?

Da_BoKa 15th February 2005 18:25

afaik JMke does not own a x800pro/xt or xt pe :)

but what does the VDDQ do? i've googled for it and searched quite some fora for it, but o could not find the answer!

jmke 15th February 2005 18:32

"A VDDQ voltage of 2.16 V to 2.18 V will help with both VCore and VMem"

I don't own an X800, and even if I did, I'm not too skilled with a soldering iron;)

Da_BoKa 15th February 2005 18:35

yes, i've read that to0, but what does it controls?

jmke 15th February 2005 18:49

probably voltage control? :)

GIBSON 15th February 2005 18:55

lol, well, if i would own one, i wouldn't really dare touching it that way, if i would ever try a voltmod, i'd start out with something cheap, and only try on a better card if i'm comfortable with it and skilled enough

I've done these mods, old guide, they just finally finished it :D, used to be on their fora and only pencil mods were explained.

Dunno what exactly the Vddq does but you have to keep it 0.1V above Vdd lower and it will kill your OC really bad.
