Radeon X1900GT : 7900GT Killer ?
Since January, and more still since the end of CeBit, ATI and NVIDIA carry out a fight baited on the ground of the products, but also of the prices. Thus, in order to counter the news Geforce 7 of the chameleon, Canadian had decided to leave two new products. Initially, in fact the X1800GTO was marketing, in order to counter the 7600GT. Initially too expensive, it was quickly lowered, as had seen we at the time of our test. For as much, and as it is a derivative of X1800, it was not especially convincing. Indeed, if it has real assets, on the overclocking in particular, it is sullied by defects which can be awkward as its short lifespan (R520 obliges) which implies a lack of passion and inventiveness of the partners (one sees only models of reference...).
