Default Powercolors shows off Passive HD4850 Video Card

As we wrote back then, the Powercolor's HD 4850 SCS3 cooler has 54 aluminum fins which are connected to the copper base plate via four extra long 6mm heatpipes. The card will likely end up with the reference clocks since passive cooling solution isn't exactly something to go with when you want to overclock the card.

The memory is cooled by a set of small heatsinks, same as the cards VRM part. When you talk about passive cooling solution you must have in mind that a decent case airflow is a must, otherwise you might easily end up with an overheated card.
