Oracle continues to hassle Google over Android
 

Java row goes on and on and on

Oracle has decided that it is not going to give up trying to convince the world that Google owes it billions for Android software.


For the last seven years, Google and Oracle have been slugging it out over copyright over Java applets, which Oracle insists are the key to making Android run. It has gone through two federal trials and bounced around at appeals courts, including a brief stop at the U.S. Supreme Court. Oracle has sought as much as $9 billion in the case.
