OCZ Technology Gets Listed on NASDAQ Exchange
 

As some may already know, OCZ is a publicly traded company and they will now become traded on the NASDAQ. Today, OCZ has been approved to be listed on the NASDAQ Capital Markets and will commence trading its common stock under ticker symbol "OCZ" this Friday, April 23rd, 2010. This is a very big step for any company, especially one that is looking to continue to grow their business.

For OCZ, they have recently begun to refocus their efforts on their "core business" which include their SSD and memory module businesses as well as power supplies. Recently, there have been a lot of rumors about them letting go of certain divisions or looking for buyers for them. The most recent casualty of this restructuring is the killing of the Hypersonic-PC division. Hypersonic was acquired by OCZ back in October of 2007 and ever since OCZ has struggled with making Hypersonic work for them.
