OCZ shows new RevoDrive 400 at IDF 2015
 

OCZ is putting final touches to its new RevoDrive 400 NVMe PCIe SSD and has showcased it at IDF 2015 in San Francisco.

Most details are still unknown OCZ is still putting final touches to firmware, but it is pretty much clear that it will be based on Toshiba controller and NAND flash memory and, as you can see from the picture, it will also be available with and without a PCIe adapter.

According to OCZ, you can expect it to be available in capacities of up to 1TB. Sequential performance should be well over 2000MB/s while 4K random performance will go over 200,000 IOPS, which is in line with what we can see from other similar NVMe PCIe SSDs.

There will be plenty of M.2 NVMe SSDs to choose from and OCZ should have the RevoDrive 400 ready for retail later this year.
