that is what i suspect too, as DDR2 cannot give better performnce than DDR2 at those high latencies. |

I know about the bandwidth but the end result (performance) is not that different, meaning it doesn't justify buying them. |
well not if you want to upgrade to a beefier cpu and you still have some (recently purchased) ddr lying around but if you're buying an all new system, i don't see what the problem is... prices on ddr2 are very competitive nowadays if you ask me... |
