Default NYT: Yang Says Microsoft Didn’t Want to Negotiate

It may be a "he said, she said" kind of situation, but Jerry Yang wants you to know he was negotiating in good faith and had a genuine offer on the table when Steve Ballmer walked away.

“They chose to walk away after we put a price on the table, and they didn’t want to negotiate,” the Yahoo CEO tells today’s New York Times. “From my perspective, we were open all along to selling to Microsoft. We just feel Yahoo, either stand-alone or with Microsoft, is worth more than what they put on the table.”
