Nvidia shows more RTXed games at Gamescom 2019 Minecraft, Watch Dogs Legion, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 and more Nvidia took Gamescom 2019 by storm, showing a bit more games with RTX as well as announcing some new titles that have joined the list. After losing Assetto Corsa Competizione as an RTX title, which was a big blow, Nvidia and its partner developer released screenshots, trailers, and information about titles we already knew will support RTX, as well as some new titles, like the Minecraft. Although Mojang canceled the Super Duper Graphics Pack for Minecraft, which should have brought improved visuals like dynamic shadows, directional lighting, and more, it appears that Nvidia came to the rescue with RTX. To be available for the DirectX 12 version of Minecraft, DXR raytracing will bring real-time global illumination and Nvidia will bring, according to Nvidia, "lifelike lighting, reflections, shadows, and much more". https://fudzilla.com/news/gaming/492...-gamescom-2019 |
