Nvidia Announces 3D Vision Surround Technology Nvidia Corp. on Thursday demonstrated its new technology called 3D Vision Surround, which enables stereoscopic 3D picture on three monitors. The technology will be supported by the next-generation GeForce graphics cards based on code-named GF100 chip (NV60, GT300, G300) that sports Fermi architecture. Nvidia 3D Vision Surround is currently the world’s only first consumer, multi-display 3D solution which allows users to span stereo 3D content across 3 high definition monitors or projectors for immersive gaming experience. Even though 3D Vision Surround will be officially launched with Nvidia GeForce “GF100” graphics boards later in Q1, the good news for everyone is that 3D Vision Surround will also be supported on existing GeForce 200-series graphics cards powered by GT200/GT200b chips. http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/video/d...echnology.html |
