 |  Need for Speed Underground 2 2004. The year where sequels became the hottest properties of the gaming industry. This year, fresh sequels like Halo 2 made it big and raked in some record earnings; a telling tale of where the gaming industry has been heading lately and the path developers will take next year. Building on the tremendous success of the original Need for Speed Underground, EA decided to walk the path of the sequel, and started work on the newest incarnation to their film-inspired arcade street racer. While NFSU2 is a great game for anyone with an itch to own the streets and pimp their rides in the process, it’s not without its share of problems that leave you scratching your head and wondering what could have been.
