Default MSI Showcases Stirling Engine Heatsink

MSI has designed a new chipset cooling fan that is able to operate without electricity. MSI’s new chipset cooler, which is accordingly dubbed the “Air Power Cooler,” offers all of the benefits of a cooler with a fan without drawing any power.

Now this is what I call innovative pc equipment , tough I'm curious about it's price because it probably won't sell if it isn't cheaper and more efficient than passive air cooling (not to speak about SLI/Crossfire compatibility).

reading the DT text leads to believe this is interesting for OEM
would be silly to promote this "no power, save 1W!" HSF on an enthusiast board which runs quad core and SLI/CF for close to 1000W

Cool, we're finally seeing something that makes good use of all the heat dissipated in modern 'puters.
70%, that's a whole lot, let's hope it won't end up to noise in the end, certainly on NVIDIA chipsets
