MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE Graphics Card

It's an exciting time for computer lovers in general and PC gamers in particular, as a new revolution in GPU technology has meant that images and effects have never been as sharp, clear and authentic, and speed of operation is well-nigh instantaneous and glitch-free.

What has brought about this change? The concept of dual core (i.e. combining two GPUs) and the advent of SLI (Scalable Link Interface) technology, for which we have to thank Nvidia. The idea of teaming up two graphics cards in one machine is not new, but it's only now that it's become a commercial reality.

The Nvidia GeForce 7950 GX2 is currently the highest performing single graphics card on the market, uniting two graphics adapters in an SLI configuration on a single card. One word of warning if you're planning on upgrading to this new world; your motherboard must be PCI Express enabled and include an nForce4 SLI chipset. The Nvidia site has a list of approved motherboards if you're wondering where you stand.
