More Memory Manufacturers Support Enhanced Performance Profiles
 

Kingston, OCZ Technology, Mushkin announce new modules. NVIDIA and Corsair’s Enhanced Performance Profile specification is gaining support from other memory manufacturers. Marketed as SLi-Ready memory the Enhanced Performance Profiles are essentially an extension to the JEDEC SPD specification. Usually the SPD is programmed with a single set of memory timings. Enhanced Performance Profiles allow for two full profiles that include timings, memory voltage, drive strength, etc or four half profiles that only contain memory timings.
