![]() | ![]() Microsoft’s Surface turned out to be one of the best kept secrets in the technological world, in recent times anyway. Finally going on sale to the public on October 26th, it was well received by the community for the build quality and Windows 8’s, fully realised, touch functionality. But only the Windows RT version of the Surface was brought to the market, with Microsoft holding back on the Windows 8 Pro versions for later in the year. While the pricing wasn’t revealed for the RT until close to launch, the Pro pricing is yet to be confirmed by Microsoft. Now, German retailer Notebook.de has started taking pre-orders for the Pro hardware and has revealed a price; €909 ($1,161 or £726). http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft...Neowin+News%29
