Meizu MX6 to feature Helio X20
 

The Meizu MX6 looks set to ship with a MediaTek Helios X20 ten core and Mali T880 MP4 GPU under the bonnet.

A recent listing in the AnTuTu benchmark claims that the Meizu MX6 is coming with the Helio X20 three cluster, ten core SoC. The Meizu MX4 used the older eight core MT6595.

MediaTek Helio X20 was announced in May 2015 and it comes with ten cores including two Cortex-A72 at 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A53 at 2.0GHz and four low-power Cortex-A53 at 1.4GHz.

The Meizu MX6 has a 1920x1080 Full HD display 3GB or RAM, 32GB storage and Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the Flyme launcher on top. We saw hints of 20.7 megapixel camera and suspect that the Meizu MX5 has the same camera resolution.

Helio X20 MT6797 chip was leaked to GeekBench, where it scored 7037 points in a multi core test. Even the single core test showed a significant update with a 2094 score. An HTC E9+ with Helios X10 scores 919 in the single core test and 4787 in multi core. The HTC One M9 with Snapdragon 810 scored 1376 in a single core test and 3826 in a multi core test.

Samsung Galaxy S6 is one of the fastest phones around and it scores 1242 in single core test and 4227 in multi score. The most expensive Samsung Galaxy, the S6 Edge scores slightly higher with 1342 in single core test and 4511 in multi core.
