Default MACS working on TEC powered Air Cooling for your Video Card

We received some interesting information from MACS, the makers of the recently reviewed TEC CPU Cooler. They are concentrating on making the TEC cooler work for VGA cards, the TEC is rated up to 18W and is cooled by a massive construction of 4 copper heat pipes, a large copper base and a series of aluminum fins which are cooled by two 80mm fans.

The device is still in prototype phase, but looks promising, and with the arrival of the power hungry nVIDIA/ATI cards, it might be the ideal cooler to overclock these new high end video cards?

The full specifications of the TD-Sorceress are:

* Total dimension: 218x108x43 mm (LxWxH)
* TEC type: 30x30 mm
* total power range: 3W ~ 18W
* Heatpipe Material: 4 Copper base with Nickel Coating
* Fan size: two times 80x80x4 mm
* Fan Speed and noice level
- 1800 RPM / 20 db(A)
- 2500 RPM / 25 db(A)
- 3000 RPM / 30 db(A)
* Total Cooler weight: 268 g

No detailed news on product compatibility, but the mounting system seems to be quite flexible to allow the Cooler to fit a wide range of VGA cards.
