Finally the TS-431+ proved to be solid in all areas with no real weaknesses other than perhaps the memory, which cannot be upgraded from the 1GB configuration. Still for those seeking a cost effective network attached solution for their home/office and don't require all the multimedia and virtualization features of an Intel powered NAS, then we highly recommend the QNAP TS-431+.
