Leadtek releases the PCoIP zero client and PCoIP remote acceleration host card, together with the new Teradici APEXTM 2800 Server Offload Card. This ensures the success of VMware View VDI deployments by offloading PCoIP image encoding tasks from the CPU, and reducing server CPU utilization. This solution can reduce peaks in server CPU utilization by up to 50% and protect the user experience. Moreover, each APEXTM 2800 card offloads the most active 64 displays at a maximum resolution of 1920x1200. By deploying this solution, it greatly enhances the VDI consolidation ratio improvements.
Engineers, designers, and content creation professionals are constantly being challenged to find a faster way on both visual design and physical simulation. This year, Leadtek introduces the workstation combining NVIDIA Quadro and Tesla GPU for interactive design and simulation simultaneously. With the GPU power of Quadro and Tesla, content creation professionals can perform faster video editing, effects and animation.
