Default Kingston unveils the SSDNow V+ solid state drives

Kingston Technology has now announced the latest addition to its solid state drive line-up, the SSDNow V+ family of drives. Coming in a 2.5-inch form factor, the V+ models have capacities of 64, 128 and 256GB and feature a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory, a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 1 million hours, and transfer speeds of up to 220 MB/s (reading) and 140/170/180 MB/s (64GB/128GB/256GB model - when writing).
