| Intel shows 14 millimeter thin netbook Intel took the opportunity to show a new netbook concept during the first press event at Computex. Based on an Atom processor with dual cores the Canoe Lake platform is the world's thinnest netbook, only 14 millimeter in profile. Intel calls Canoe Lake an innovation platform and claims that the relatively powerful netbooks isn't just 50% thinner than competing models but also cooler. The mobile dual-core Atom processor will go into mass production this month and be available in netbooks later this year. http://www.nordichardware.com/news/7...n-netbook.html
