DAVID KANTER, at Real World Technologies, has put together a superb analysis of the implications of CSI - the future Intel interconnect expected in 2008/2009.

CSI has similarities to AMD's Hypertransport and Kanter explains how it works, whether it will outperform AMD's offering, and how Intel can be expected to implement it for desktops, for servers and for notebooks.
