Intel presents 730 series Solid State Drive for Gamers and Content Creators

Intel launches today the brand new Intel Solid State Drive 730 Series. A blistering fast SSD targeting Gamers and Workstation Users. Available in a 240 or 480 GB capacity. The 730 SSDs can be pre-ordered and will hit the shelves around the 18th of March.

Both the NAND memory and 3rd generation Intel controller are build for the utmost quality and reliability. These 730 series SSDs are factory prepped for optimal performance with Data Center DNA. The controller is Over Clocked by 50% and the NAND memory by 20%. Resulting in high transfer rates of up to 550 MB/s sequential reads, and up to 89,000 IOPS random reads.
