Of course as the industry giant ,Intel would not wish this situation long time maintained, so at January 8, Intel officially launched new LGA1156 Clarckdale i3/Pentium series dual-core processor . Obviously, the new product retains Pentium brands , after all this series has become intel main force in mainstream market, the "new Pentium" would certainly be a lot of user expectations. The result is that AthlonII X3 425 in both performance and price performance all better than Pentium G6950 . Thus new product Pentium G6950 still can not threaten AthlonII X3 425 , So AthlonII X3 425 position in the market remains remarkably strong. Of course, if price of Pentium G6950 can reduce to lower than $66 quickly, Intel's Core i3 price adjustments to below $88 ,consumers will have a really new choice.
