As you probably already know today Intel launched their new high-end processor series codenamed Ivy Bridge-E. We’ve tested all three new CPUs, the six-core Core i7 4960X, the six-core Core i7 4930K and the quad-core Core i7 4820K. We’ve compared the CPUs to 47 other Intel and AMD chips. The comparison between the 3970X and 4960X (old and new flagship) and the 4820K and 4770K (equally prices quad-cores in the Ivy Bridge-E and Haswell series) get special attention.
