Intel plans to raise the proportion of its multi-core processor shipments to 80% in the third quarter 2007. While the proportion of its Presler-core Pentium D shipments will reduced by 75% at that time, Intel will have the Conroe-core Pentium E2000 series fill the gap, according to the sources.
