Google has fired a bloke who slammed Google’s diversity policy and called for the company to stop hiring women and minorities when they should be hiring open minded conservative white guys instead.

The employee’s internal memo created a storm in Silicon Valley as it implied gender and colour of skin defined whether someone was a good programmer.

Damore's 10-page rant accused Google of silencing right-wing conservative political opinions and argued that biological differences play a role in the shortage of women in tech and leadership positions.
