Gigabyte M1305 gets docking station with discrete GeForce GPU Gigabyte has been moving slowly on the ultramobile market but now it looks to take things up a notch with Booktop M1305. With 13.3" display Gigabyte puts its faith in one of the more popular formfactors and performance varies form Intel's Core 2 Duo, Pentium or Celeron processors. The screen can show 1366x768 pixel resolution and is powered by Intel's integrated 4500MHD GPU, but there is a way to improve this. Gigabyte has designed a docking station for M1305 that sports a GeForce GT220 GPU and 1GB DDR2 memory inside, which should render a lot more performance than Intel's integrated solution. http://www.nordichardware.com/news,10202.html |
Yes GT 220 will render more than Intel GPU, but at 1366x768 it won't deliver top notch performance; expect 9500 GT performance; so this means low-medium quality settings to get playable FPS |
