Gigabyte joins the memory market with AORUS RGB 16GB DDR4 kit

Also has dummy modules for extra RGB bling

Gigabyte has decided to expand its product portfolio and go for the memory market with its newest Aorus RGB DDR4 memory.

According to what is know so far, Gigabyte will start with a dual-channel DDR4 3200MHz 16GB (2x8GB) memory kit with 16-18-18-36 latency at 1.2V (1.35V with XMP). The kit uses Samsung B die chips and comes with symmetric heat spreaders and support for RGB Fusion.

In addition to the new AORUS RGB DDR4-3200 memory kit, Gigabyte also prepared the so-called RGB Infused Demo Module, which is pretty much a dummy module with RGB light for users that only need 16GB of memory but want to add some bling by using all four memory slots. It will have the same looks but without memory chips and should be quite cheap.

According to our details, both the Gigabyte AORUS RGB DDR4 3200 16GB (2x8GB) kit and the RGB Infused Demo Module should be available by the end of June. The memory kit should have an MSRP of US $229 while we still do not have a precise price for the dummy RGB modules.
