We have posted a review of Gigabyte’s dual 6800GT PCI Express video card. The GV-3D1-68GT is compared against a single 6800GT and the 7800GT.
Gigabyte's GV-3D1-68GT is a very interesting card, and they have pulled off SLI in a single card solution in a very effective if cumbersome manner. The size of the card will be a negative to many and additionally you must of course have one of the above Gigabyte motherboards for SLI to work but when it does it works well, easily outpacing a single 7800GT. That said, this card is in short supply and not exactly cheap, coming in at $608 at the lowest price on the net. For that much you can almost buy two 7800GTs and put them in SLI or of course two 6800GS for only $400 and achieve better results with 7800 GT's in SLI or about the same with 6800GS. That said if your motherboard works with the card and you can meet the size requirements, and want a single card SLI solution this is a good card from Gigabyte with plenty of speed and an innovative piece of computer hardware.
