I believe in designing the 880GMA-UD2H, GIGABYTE set out to prove that a small form factor does not equate to lack of performance. While it is true that they cut out a lot of the bells and whistles you'd normally find on a full size board, GIGABYTE seems to have optimized what was included for stability and performance.
