Fossil’s New Wear OS Smartwatch Is The First Affordable Model With Snapdragon 3100 Qualcomm made a splash back in September with the announcement of the new and improved Snapdragon 3100 platform for wearable, but so far the only model that actually uses it is a $1000 MontBlanc. Fossil fixed that this morning. The Fossil Sport uses the latest version of Google’s Android-based Wear OS, the Snapdragon 3100, a heart rate monitor, built-in GPS and NFC for mobile payments, and most importantly, a price starting at just $255. The Sport will take advantage of the new hardware to offer “all-day battery life” thanks to a new low-power ambient mode and a beefy 350mah battery. The full circular screen is offered in 41mm and 43mm face sizes, with six different body colors and more than two dozen silicone straps on offer. https://www.reviewgeek.com/9558/foss...apdragon-3100/ |
