| First Hardware DivX PVR for Mac EvolutionTV: First Hardware DivX PVR for Mac It would seem 3rd party is moving away from FireWire in favor of USB 2.0 as the choice of peripheral interface. Using USB 2.0 as the interface, EvolutionTV outperforms Elgato's FireWire EyeTV 200 FireWire by being the first Mac-compatible tuner to support DivX hardware encoding; though, MPEG-1 output for VCDs is not supported. http://www.everythingusb.com/news/index/6523.htm
