 |  EVGA silently announces 8800GT 256MB The new 8800GT comes with 256MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at reference 1.8GHz, while the core had a slight bump from reference 600MHz to 650MHz. The Shader clock has also been overclocked, from reference 1.5GHz to 1620MHz. This card is currently in stock on EVGA's web site shop for $229.99 USD which is a great price if you don't want to play games on resolutions higher than 1280x1024.
