Enermax MaxFlow Full Tower Case With my recent heatsink reviews I had the chance to check out the ThermalTake Fanless 103 heatpipe-based heatsink. Unfortunately, it simply couldn’t perform for my system without the addition of a side intake fan to help cool the chipset and CPU. I was a bit disappointed as I really hoped to continue to use the cooler in my system afterwards to help cut down on noise. Well, apparently Enermax realized my dismay as I soon found that I would be reviewing their new CS-718 series ‘Max Flow’ case. With two 120mm fans and a translucent blue shroud running the length of the case, it promises to provide adequate airflow for even a fanless heatsink like the 103. And since the included fans are 120mm and come with a fan controller, it should still be suitably quiet. So now that I’ve lived with this case for a while, I’m prepared to give full discourse on how it performs. Of course, you have to keep reading if you want to hear it. http://www.thetechlounge.com/review....nermax_maxflow |
Okay, I like to know Vcard and HDD temps. Say today's vcard runs about 45 Watts or more + HDD another 20 Watts .... hummm that about the same wattage as say S939 Winchester 3000+. I have yet seen P4 dies from heat., but I sure have HDD died from it, let alone video lock up from heat. |
