ECS Unveils Two NVIDIA SLI Solution Motherboards at Computex Taipei 2005







Taipei, Taiwan, June 1st, 2005 –Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) is showcasing two NVIDIA SLI solution motherboards, the KN1 SLI Extreme and PN1 SLI Extreme, at Computex Taipei 2005 in Taiwan.



These and other exciting, innovative ECS products are on display at booth F242, Hall 2 in the Taipei World Trade Center.



The two Extreme series boards incorporate advanced dual-core and 64-bit technology. Their new, improved computing capabilities, reflect a shift to better responsiveness and higher multithreaded throughput.



KN1 SLI Extreme supports Socket 939 Athlon 64 FX and Athlon 64 CPU/System Bus 2000 MT/s. Designed for the most demanding enthusiasts and gamers, the KN1 SLI Extreme provides exciting features, including Scalable D.G.E., NVIDIA nTuneTM and 8-channel audio.



Scalable D.G.E. produces increased, supercharged 3D graphics performance and supports simultaneously display on up to four devices while leveraging NVIDIA SLI technology, enabling two connected SLI-ready graphics cards to work jointly and efficiently to enhance overall graphics performance up to 70 percent. Users can also take advantage of the PCI Express architecture by plugging in any single PCI Express graphics card.

The PN1 SLI Extreme, ECS' NVIDIA SLI solution motherboard, supports LGA775 socket Pentium 4 and Pentium D CPU, FSB 1066 MHz, DDR2 667 memory architecture as well as high-performance RAID (0, 1, 0+1, 5).
