DFI LANPARTY UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R Mainboard Review
 

Today we are going to talk about a DFI LANPARTY UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R mainboard, a solution based on the “lite” (LT) modification of Nvidia nForce 680i SLI chipset. The mainboard makes a very good impression, boasts very rich BIOS functionality, works great with the memory, but in the end it will not fit any overclocking fan.

Strange review, well written, but strange results I mean.

I have no trouble whatsoever running the board between 400 - 475 FSB. Maybe they've got a faulty board, or maybe it's their cpu that's responsible... but I'm afraid their test methodology is wrong (and they probably didn't read Tony's guide :p )

which still is weak when the P35 one blasts the 600 mark

See first, then I'll believe ;)

And I mean retail boards with stock cooling, not some exotic lab test :)

Considering even the "PRO" engineers from MSI get 500+, it doesn't sound too far off for a DFI board


The other question is, do you need (maybe once the 1333 FSB penryns come) and is it worth the cost of the DFI boards considering Gigabyte sells the DS3 P35 for a very nice price.
