Default A-DATA and PQI to offer SSD powered by Intel Chips

A-Data Technology and Power Quotient International (PQI) are expected to join Intel in a push for the solid-state drive (SSD) market with a co-branding strategy, according to industry sources.

Kingston entered the branded SSD market in January 2009, via a similar co-branding partnership with Intel.

A-Data is expected to announce its entry in the SSD market shortly, indicated the sources, while PQI's dual-brand SSDs will likely debut by this month, the sources added.
