Crowdfunding Bill Backed by US House
 

The Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS) has won the approval of the House of Representatives by an overwhelming majority. The bill makes it easier for small companies to obtain startup capital from Internet sources rather than through traditional banking channels. Up to $1m can be raised via crowdfunding, or $2m for companies that provide investors with fully audited financial statements.
