Default Crossfire and Quake 4 Performance

We have updated our Quake 4 benchmarks with ATI X850 Crossfire numbers as well as 6600GT and 6600GT SLI figures.

SLI and Crossfire are only worth the cost at 1600x1200 with max FSAA/AF

in NO other scenario does it offer any improvement worth the cost of the "special" motherboard and extra videocard.

and you should get yourself a HQ monitor too to play at 1600x1200

hmm

I have lots of games that aren't even smooth on an x850xt-pe at 1280*1024 4*fsaa and 8*af, playing dawn of war at 1600*1200 with 4*fsaa and 16*af proved easy for an sli setup...one single card got dips below 25 fps...two had constant 40+

not to mention fear...
