I am gaining 600MHz with just aircooling atm and phase change cooling doesn't cost 1000 euros but not a lot less indeed :) Btw, those heaterpads are only supplied with a VapoChill unit. other units just use insulation. Sealingstrips 'n' sh*t. I don't think it's worth 1000 euro's, cause for a student, that's a lot aaight. But if you can afford it.... And if you're  enough, you just build your own. Still not that cheap.... BUT... a lot cheaper than a vapochill imo... Same about watercooling though. To expensive for me too, so I just built my own :) |
Mach II uses heating pads also afaik :) |

erm... eh  my bad? :D anyways, not all of them use heaterpads. And haven't seen any homebrewed with heaterpads to... |
Is a CPU subzero cooling unit worth the cost? sure it is , if you have the money ... :D |
I think it's worth, if you make it yourself and if you can get most if it for cheap. Otherwise there's no fun about it :D . |
down with ya hardfreak same goes for watercooling |
CPU subzero i am loving this :) I am using this now for a few years. First unit vapochill socket/slot A version :) Depends on your needs, for me is just pure fun. If you have the money go for it. A good complete watercooling set-up cost you same price as a used unit if you are lucky. |
