Counter-Strike 2 officially announced
 

Coming in summer 2023

After a couple of rumors earlier, Valve has now officially confirmed and announced Counter-Strike 2. Based on Source 2 Engine, Valve calls it the "largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike’s history".

So far, Valve did not give out a lot of details, but at least we have something to go on until it launches in the summer of 2023. Valve was keen to note that it will be a free upgrade to CS:GO.
