Corsair releases M.2 NVMe MP500 SSD series
 

Coming in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities

Corsair has released a new addition to its Force Series SSD lineup, the MP500 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD series, which promises impressive performance of up to 3,000MB/s for read and up to 2,400MB/s for write.

Based on standard M.2 2280 form-factor, the Corsair Force Series MP500 SSD uses Phison PS5007-E7 NVMe controller with PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and comes in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities. Unfortunately, Corsair did not release any information regarding the NAND flash used on the MP500 series but the aforementioned controller supports 1z nm MLC/TLC NAND as well as 3D NAND.
