 |  Components returns rates explored The one gap in our advice on purchasing of material is information on reliability. Sure, manufacturer reputation helps, but as reliability varies enormously from one model to another, even well-known manufacturers aren’t immune from sending out doubtful products.  Even if, as the financial sector likes to tell us, past results are nothing to go by, today we are publishing some of the returns stats that we have available. Of course this type of stat is of relative value, especially as a good number of the products have become obsolete. | My theory that bad stock cooling solutions are costing the manufacturer money is confirmed with the 4870 results. |

| or more likely bunch of french forum peeps using OCCT and Furmark to overheat the VRM on their cards

  | glad he didn't take my Samsung spinpoint F1 1TB drives into account, they score 100% for RMA.... 6 out of 6 have got issues on 3 different platforms... Last RMA for me, then no more Samsung

| same here with two Western Digital "WD Caviar Green WD10EACS"; in his list they score 0%, in my book 50% fail rate out of 4 drives tested; luckily they were close to DOA; so they stopped working before I put any data on them.
