Bill Gates No Longer Microsoft's Largest Shareholder
 

Bill Gates has been in the business of selling off his shares in Microsoft for charity over the past few years and has finally reached a milestone: he's no longer the largest individual shareholder. That honor now rests with "He who will not leave the building". Yes, it has to be our favorite Ex-CEO, Steve Ballmer, who now owns the most individual shares at 333 Million. Announcing his retirement plan last August, Ballmer wrote in an email to employees, "I cherish my Microsoft ownership, and look forward to continuing as one of Microsoft's largest owners."
