it actually didn't suck, but I thought it sucked at first glance too...

it sux on the XBOX due to the sucky controls with the gamepad
enjoyed it also on the PC, multiplayer is funky and that 4x4 is a joy to swing around the maps

I'm all for too.

In dispite of the fact that it's an X box port, I can, like jmke, not appreciate the way the controller works but this isn't just the problem with halo or x box, this is a problem other consoles and fps games have aswell.

I like it on pc because controls with the pc are way better and it doesn't take forever to get your controls set up in a way that's easy to use.

It's the sort of game you can play with people who rarely play games if any and still all have fun

With a game like battlefield for instance, you just can't put a group together and start playing. Without bullshitting, you probably have 10x more controls in battlefield as opposed to halo.
And then I'm not even talking about "tweaking" your controls to your liking. When you need to bail out of a plane that's about to burn out in mid air, you don't want to start staring at your keyboard to find your "parachute key", if you by that time are able to remember what button it was . You can't just hit the upper right side of the board cuz' in battlefield, half the keyboard has a control assigned to it.
