ATI scraps the Xpress 300 in unusual move

Did ATI managed to solve its problems by adding another 16 lanes to the mix, or is RADEON Xpress continuing to be a system integrators nightmare? The number of complaints we have received from engineers working in the motherboard industry and system integrating companies is just astounding. Nvidia's firewall is usually the main topic, with severe remarks on ATi's unstable CrossFire platform, so that is going to be reserved for a a separate story.
