ATI Radeon HD 4850 Price Drops $20
 

From $149 to $129. Atleast according the retail channels, the drop is to coincide with the launch of Nvidia's Geforce GTS 250 a.k.a the the fourth rebrand of the G92, previously known as 8800GTS, 9800GTX & 9800GTX+.

The Radeon HD 4850 has been a very popular product from ATI, launched in June last year. It's launch led Nvidia to drop the price of the 9800GTX by 33% and also introduce 9800GTX+ to match its performance. Since then, its price has been gradually dropping at retail in-line with what is expected in the life-cycle of products in the graphics industry.
