Default ASUS Extreme N6600GT PCI-E SLI

There are a few major differences with SLI this time around though - some good on paper, some bad on paper. First off, the bad - it will require a mainboard specifically designed for SLI. That means, at the moment, a Nvidia nForce4-SLI motherboard - extra costs and limited choice. It will also require a relatively high end PSU to handle the extra power load since videocards are as power hungry as ever. Both of these aspects were not a factor in the days of 3Dfx SLI - atleast not to the same degree they are now.
